Part of the Honeygirl Meadery mission is to support and promote honeybees in our community. We are pleased to join the efforts of a new non-profit organization called Bee Downtown. They are working with the American Tobacco campus, the NC Beekeepers Association, and Burt’s Bees, to bring honeybee hives to the American Tobacco campus.

Bee Downtown will be hosting an informational session about the program on Thursday, July 17th from 5-7pm, under the water tower at American Tobacco. Honeygirl Meadery will be there sharing samples of our Orange Blossom mead. Come learn more about the plans for bringing more honeybees to downtown Durham.
